Facilities in WorthingWorthing is a South Coast seaside town with many attractions. The beach offers a safe area for children to play, and a wonderful space to walk or sunbathe or swim. Worthing is now home to a thriving Polish restaurant, Lavenda, too! Worthing has a Pier from which you get an amazing view across a large swathe of the South Coast. There are three theatres in Worthing, the Connaught, the Pavilion, and the Assembly Halls. All kinds of productions take place in these venues the year round, from classical concerts to pantomime so can see your favourite artistes without going to London. If you would rather see the latest film, there is a cinema associated with the Connaught Theatre and the Dome Cinema, recently rescued and restored. Worthing is an ideal base if you wish to visit some of the many interesting places in Sussex. Brighton, Chichester and Portsmouth are within easy reach, and the South Downs National Park presents a most beautiful area for walking.
